The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa

Km 22.5 Carreterra Transpeninsular San Jose del Cabo

Modern design and natural elements merge in this tranquil setting by the sea.

Upon approach, The Westin Los Cabos displays dramatic, curvilinear architecture in vibrant colors that emulate the natural surroundings. Designed by Mexican architect Juan Sordo Madaleno, the resort features 142 villa-style guest rooms including two suites, all with private balconies that offer expansive views over the Sea of Cortez. The warm desert hues create a soothing mood, and amenities include comfortable beds, marble showers and well-stocked mini-bars. One- and two-bedroom villas come with kitchenettes and dining tables.

Hurricane Odile shut down this resort, but when it emerged from its renovations, it was better than ever, featuring the adult-only Margarita Pool with a swim-up bar, La Cascada Pool geared toward younger guests, an excellent fitness studio and Spa Otomí. Spa highlights include five-minute sample treatments by the pool and open-air treatment cabanas right on the beach. For buffet breakfast and themed dinners, the resort offers Cocina Casera, while Coraline serves fresh seafood and burgers with views of the sea. In addition, hilltop El Ciruelo showcases a menu of modern Latin American cuisine. Two meeting and event spaces measure in at just under 5,000 square feet.
