Basic rooms and friendly service in the bohemian Roma district.
Tucked away in the hip, bohemian Roma district, the Stanza Hotel is an excellent bargain. Located on tree-lined Alvaro Obregon, a quiet avenue with fountains and Roman statues, the Stanza is centrally located and close to many tourist destinations. La Roma is an up-and-coming neighborhood with plenty of cafes, art galleries, and bars. On the weekends, an arts and crafts market takes over the avenue. The rooms are basic but well-equipped and upgrades are available to executive rooms in the new addition. The hotel also features a small gym. There is a restaurant in the hotel lobby with traditional Mexican food and also a small salon and business center. The hotel is close to a subway station and only a short taxi ride away from the historic center and the Zona Rosa.
