This hotel played host to some of Alaska's most illustrious guests

The hotel has been renovated over time, adding modern comforts while maintaining an authentic look through the preservation of architectural details and the tasteful use of period furnishings.

The hotel has only 26 guest rooms and suites, which are done up in traditional style. All come with free Wi-Fi, big-screen digital cable TVs, coffee makers, work desks and private bathrooms. Complimentary breakfast is served each morning, with dishes including fresh fruit and Belgian waffles. Also on-site are conveniences such as dry cleaning, a gift shop, a business center and a fitness center. Meeting, event and banquet space measures in at 1,800 square feet. The hotel is especially popular for engagement parties and wedding rehearsal dinners.
