Asuncion Ridge Vineyards & Inn
A romantic night's sleep among the vines.
Perhaps no other vineyard B&B in the Paso Robles area is as serious about preserving guests' peace and quiet as Asuncion Ridge. This very private property is just a fifteen-minute drive west of Hwy. 101, all on paved roads. Set on a hilltop with over 300 acres of woodlands, the property has sweeping, if distant, views of the Pacific coast. In the modern ranch-style hacienda, there are just three elegant suites with thoroughly modern lavish touches, such as solid wood furnishings and Oriental rugs. In the largest Pinot Noir Suite, there's a king-sized bed, stone fireplace and limestone-tiled bath. Of the other two suites, the Zinfandel Suite is preferred for its antique marble bath with a soaking tub and walk-in shower, as well as its own private patio. All guests can enjoy the deck overlooking flowering gardens and the vineyard. Rates often include wine and cheese tastings, as well as evening port with chocolates. The champagne breakfast buffet comes with the hot entrée of your choice, and can be taken in the formal dining room or outside on one of the sprawling verandahs. There's a two-night minimum stay on weekends.
