Victorian country charm at a private winery.
This charming white farmhouse B&B lies in the middle of vineyards in the Paso Robles wine country. Olives and grapes are grown on the property, where horses, cattle, and wild turkeys roam, and there are vegetable and flower gardens. With personal service from the innkeepers, the emphasis is on romance, so much so that weddings and other special events are occasionally held here. Most of the rooms are in the carriage house, which is outfitted in Victorian country-style furnishings. Some of the suites are big enough to accommodate families, while cozier rooms are meant for couples. High-speed Internet access, satellite TV, and telephone access is available upon request. All of the rooms and suites have air-conditioning. For those in need of lodgings for an extended stay, the second-floor Coachman Studio has a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher in the kitchenette, as well as a comfortable living area and walk-in closets. It's set apart from the main bed-and-breakfast for more privacy and convenience. Rates include a full hot breakfast and afternoon snacks and drinks. True to its name, the bed-and-breakfast offers carriage rides by special arrangement.
