Intimate suites at a historic winery.
On the 80-acre grounds of a family-owned vineyard, this century-old farmhouse offers just two guest suites for overnight stays. The décor affects modern country style. Upstairs the one-bedroom suite boasts a whirlpool tub, kitchenette, and private deck entrance, plus enchanting vistas from the picture windows. It also has separate dining and living rooms, making it more like an apartment. Downstairs the larger two-bedroom suite downstairs has a kitchenette, living and dining rooms, and a deep soaking tub, as well as two porches to kick back on. To make it a true getaway, you can hire a chef to come prepare seasonally-inspired meals at the farmhouse. The owners been making wines here since they moved up from Southern California in the 1960s. Complimentary tastings of their award-winning vintages are offered daily at the winery, which is open to the public. The bed-and-breakfast is pleasantly ensconced on backroads, so guests' privacy is assured.
