Business and pleasure converge at this Calistoga lodge.
Though this rustic resort is popular with business travelers, the style is anything but corporate. It is situated on 24 acres of vineyard, and its three separate post-and-beam buildings offer the feel of an English Tudor estate. There are twenty rooms in all, including spacious accommodations in a building called The Inn on the Knoll, and great winery vistas in the one named The Inn on the Vineyard. All rooms boast a private bath, air-conditioning, glorious views and complimentary Internet access. Several even have themes: the Old West, safari and the Orient. All guests enjoy complimentary breakfast, and events held in the conference center can be catered on-site. The property has a full winery for its eponymous vintages, and the Silver Rose Spa offers a variety of massage treatments. In addition, guests can enjoy a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, putting green, rose garden and meandering creek.
