A historic, country atmosphere located on Sonoma's downtown plaza.

The Sonoma Hotel

The Sonoma Hotel building dates back to 1880, when it opened as a dry-goods store and meeting hall. Today, the property is a cozy, sixteen-room B&B that is located centrally on Sonoma's downtown plaza. Accomodations are small but clean, and include firm beds, TV cabinets, in-room sinks and private bathrooms. The lone suite, dubbed the Petite Suite, boasts a fold-out sofa and spacious private bathroom with a window that faces the Sonoma Mountains. Throughout, the property features French Country décor with unadorned wrought-iron and knotty pine furniture. A complimentary continental breakfast and afternoon wine tastings are presented in the downstairs lobby. On-site restaurant, The Girl & The Fig, is one of Sonoma's best. Nearby, in the plaza, guests can browse for antiques or unique gifts handcrafted by local artisans before enjoying a latte at one of several small cafés.
