Top 10 Bed & Breakfasts
Old-fashioned charm in a convenient wine country location.
This bright-blue Queen Anne Victorian bed-and-breakfast sits in the heart of downtown Napa, making it a great spot for those who prefer to be in the center of the action. It was built in 1899 as a wedding gift and retains much of its classic charm today. Many of the fourteen guest rooms have individual themes: tropical Asian, frilly Victorian and Roman. Others, such as "Miss Tessa's Room," are sparse but tasteful. Some standard rooms have claw-foot tubs, window seats and/or skylights. The inn also boasts suites and a garden cottage, which has a queen-size bed, sleeper sofa, fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and French doors overlooking a private garden. Custom spa treatments are available any time of day; some packages include couples massages or massages at twilight. Rates include complimentary candlelight breakfast with menus that feature dishes such as quiche, souffle and eggs au gratin. Free Wi-Fi is available.
