This urban oasis enjoys a waterfront location on the Embarcadero across from the Ferry Building.
This Joie de Vivre property brings classy, boutique style to the Embarcadero, an area better-known for its big, business-friendly hotels. Rooms come standard with a host of amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi, LCD flat-screen TVs, CD players, Jonathan Adler bath amenities and limestone bathrooms. While interior rooms are definitely quiet, our favorites are those with views over the Ferry Building to the bay.
The penthouse level boasts a yoga studio with terrace (complimentary classes are offered each morning) and an intimate spa, with a bamboo garden and three treatment rooms showcasing Bay Bridge views. There's also a fitness room on the second floor (though guests can opt for complimentary access to the Embarcadero YWCA nearby). Americano, the house eatery, serves Italian cuisine with Northern California influences, and features a menu that takes full advantage of produce from the daily farmer's market at the Ferry Building across the street.
