Inn at the Opera
Bravo to the casual elegance of this unique, historic hotel.
This 48-room inn boasts a rich history. It was built in 1927 to house opera stars who were performing at the Opera House and Symphony Hall, both of which are just steps away. Today, the property still offers a front-row seat to some of the finest cultural shows in town. Luxuriously low-key rooms are on the smallish side, but are well-equipped with pillow-top mattresses, wet bars, mini-refrigerators, microwaves and bathrobes. Three suites feature additional sitting rooms and fully equipeed kitchens. All rates include a continental breakfast buffet and nightly turndown. The on-site restaurant, Ovation at the Opera, provides evening room service and features a pianist most nights.
