Twelve coastal cottages offering beautiful views of Tomales Bay.
At this Tomales Bay hideaway, rusticity is showcased with subtle elegant touches. Each of the twelve individualized rooms is equipped with a wood-burning stove, bathroom with heated ceramic-tile floor and other personalized design accents. Before hosting guests from all over the world, this hotel was part of a ranch during the Civil War era. It later became the site of manufacturing until the construction of a highway brought tourists to Marin County and specifically Tomales Bay, a popular fishing site. Its identity as a hotel was established shortly thereafter. Nick's Cove Restaurant and Oyster Bar serves a menu derived from local ingredients obtained in nearby West Marin waters. The hunting lodge interior complements the lodge, offering a casual venue where visitors and locals alike enjoy catch-of-the-day fish and seafood.
