Cozy, quirky guest rooms atop a famous City Hall eatery.
As its name suggests, Sleep Over Sauce actually consists of eight modest guest rooms over the award-winning restaurant, Sauce. Rooms can be rented individually, or a small group can reserve the entire house. Each accommodation includes a comfortable bed and a private bathroom (though some are detached). Some of the rooms also have a storied pedigree; rumor has it that Janis Joplin spent time in the King Suite during the 1960s. Also on-site are a modest business center and a common area (with a fireplace) for gathering and relaxing. One thing you won’t find at this property is a front desk; instead, the bartender at Sauce, downstairs, has everything guests need. Sleep Over Sauce is located a short walk from City Hall and the shopping of Hayes Valley.
