Built in 1904, this three-story hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places. Just across the street from Golden Gate Park, it offers both comfort and Victorian-era ambience in all of its 36 rooms. Bathrooms have been reasonably modernized, and the reproduction antique furnishings are simple and homey. Accommodations boast modern conveniences, such as flat screen televisions and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access. A handful of suites sleep up to six and include four-poster beds, kitchens and living and dining rooms. Guests receive complimentary continental breakfast and evening tea and cookies.
