Inn at the Presidio

Historic B&B-style accommodations enjoy a bucolic setting in the heart of The Presidio.

Lobby of Inn at the Presidio

This historic hotel is beautifully situated in the Georgian Revival-style Pershing Hall, which served as home to unmarried U.S. Army officers in the early 1900s. The building was transformed into The Presidio park’s first lodge in 2011 through a historic rehabilitation that preserved and enhanced the structure and décor. It now attracts travelers with appealing amenities such as a spacious front porch with rocking chairs, an outdoor fire pit and a location close to hiking trails, cultural points of interest and plenty of dining, entertainment and nightlife.

Accommodations come in several varieties. The Classic King Suites are the most spacious and feature separate sitting rooms with gas fireplaces. Bay View Kings have views of San Francisco Bay, while the Forest View accommodations gaze out, naturally, into the trees. Rates include a daily continental breakfast and evening wine and cheese reception, and all rooms come with amenities such as flat-screen TVs with on-demand movies and MP3 connectivity capabilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee makers, mini-fridges, board games and free morning newspapers. A few business-friendly services are available, such as a guest-use computer and printer in the reception area and two 425-square-foot meeting rooms for up to 20 guests each.
