Loews Regency San Francisco

High style literally soars above the city at this sleek luxury hotel.

Loews Regency's Deluxe Bay View King Room

This hotel originally opened as the Mandarin Oriental, and today, converted to a Loews Regency, it continues to maintain the high standards that make it one of the top luxury lodgings in the city. The hotel occupies the top 11 floors (38 through 48) of a commercial building, the third tallest in San Francisco. This setting places guests above most of the surrounding Financial District high-rises, and the building features a sky bridge that stretches dramatically between its two towers.

The 158 lavish guest rooms and suites feature unobstructed views of the city and portions of San Francisco Bay. Redesigned by San Francisco-based interior designer Michael Booth of BAMO, they boast French Deco-inspired custom furnishings such as striking white ash burlwood desks. Amenities include flat-screen televisions, Egyptian cotton sheets and complimentary shoeshine. Also of note are the bathroom windows with bird's-eye views. Brasserie S&P serves modern, locally inspired dishes in a warm, casual atmosphere, while the The Bar at Brasserie S&P specializes in craft cocktails and California wines. The Spa, though small, has a couples suite, rainforest showers and a tranquil relaxation lounge. Business services are located off the lobby, and the hotel is home to five meeting rooms and a 40th-floor deck, the highest event space in the city.
