Accommodations (including four that welcome pets) range from 360-square-foot King Rooms to 1,360-square-foot Grand Suites, and each features amenities such as custom-made gown-size armoires for guests attending weddings and formal gatherings, desks and media dressers, granite countertops, 42-inch flat-screen HDTVs, digital safes, Wi-Fi, iHome clock radios, coffee/tea makers, pillow-top mattresses, plush bathrobes, glass-walled showers and signature bath amenities. Guests can also enjoy scenic views of the San Jacinto and Mt. Palomar mountains from their private balconies. A small fitness room is well stocked with two treadmills, an elliptical machine, a recumbent bike and free weights. For wining and dining there are two in-house restaurants: The Cellar Lounge features cocktails, wine, craft beer and food served in the hotel’s basement after 4 p.m. daily, and the Restaurant at Ponte offers outdoor garden and vineyard dining and a farmers market-curated menu of grape-wood fired pizzas, pastas and sustainable seafood. Efforts at “green” living include a DG (decomposed granite) parking lot that shields runoff automotive oils from seeping into the vineyard’s water supply.
