Abriendo Inn Bed & Breakfast
Transporting guests to Pueblo's turn-of-the-century boomtown days.
Opened as a B&B in 1989, this classic Foursquare in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. No expense was spared in 1898 when the home was originally built for a prosperous German-born brewery owner. Although it has gone through many incarnations over the years, including stints as a convent and a law office, most of home’s ornate stained glass, tile and woodwork remain intact. Each of the nine rooms is elegantly furnished with antiques. They also have comfortable queen- or king-sized beds, as well as telephones, data ports, cable TV, individually-controlled air conditioning and private baths. The two rooms favored by honeymooners---Blake and Holly---have heart-shaped whirlpool tubs for two. Guests can enjoy a cooked morning meal in either the breakfast room or the porch. Picnic baskets are available for in-room dining. Coffee, tea, homemade cookies, fresh fruit and various other snacks are provided round the clock.
