Lennox House Bed & Breakfast
Guests rave about the comfortable beds, fabulous breakfasts and accommodating hosts.
This cheery yellow, Queen Anne Victorian displays many of its original features, such as honey-colored interior woodwork. It sits on a quiet residential street, but because of its proximity (only one and a half blocks) to Colorado College, the clientele is often college-related---visiting faculty or family and friends of students. The four uniquely decorated guest rooms are furnished with antiques; nice extras not usually found at a B&B include telephones with voice mail and cable TV with VCRs. Each room has a private bath, some with claw-foot tubs and pedestal sinks, and the Aspen room has its original gas log fireplace. The parlor, furnished with cozy plaids and stripes, displays a Van Briggle fireplace and a 1928 baby grand piano. Hearty breakfasts are served in the formal dining room, and snacks and hot and cold drinks are available 24 hours a day. In addition, a basket full of munchies is replenished every morning in each bedroom.
