Rockledge Country Inn
A high-end but not high-brow historic landmark.
Built in the early 1920s in the Arts & Crafts style, this 8,000-square-foot, all-suite inn sits on five-acres of award-winning gardens. Walkways meander throughout the property, and a private trail leads into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The suites of this quiet, spiritual retreat are richly but comfortably furnished with antiques; they also come with telephones, and wireless Internet is available. Whirlpool tubs for two (stocked with fragrant Thymes bath products) and fireplaces can be found in most accommodations. While the overall ambiance is already romantic, honeymooners enjoy a little something extra: complimentary Champagne. Gourmet breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room, or for great views of Pike's Peak, take it out to the courtyard. Wine and appetizers are served on weekends. Guests can borrow one of the inn's bicycles for a turn around historic Manitou Springs.
