Cute cabins and fully equipped RV slots for outdoor enthusiasts.
This simple, inexpensive campground is nestled among the pines; travelers can bunk in cozy cabins or park their RVs in a wooded site. Most come to the area to visit attractions like the Wolf Creek ski area, Great Sand Dunes National Park and Mesa Indian Ruins. As well, campground-sponsored events such as dances, craft sales and pancake breakfasts cater to long-term guests. The 12 individual log cabins are a deal with their fully stocked kitchenettes, private baths, satellite TV and VCRs. Some also have fireplaces. A common telephone is available, as well as a hot tub, laundry facilities and gas grilles in a center courtyard. No housekeeping services are offered, but towels can be exchanged every other day and linens once a week. Monthly guests are given a limited amount of linens and towels and are responsible for laundering them. The 92 RV sites have full hookups, 30-amp service, satellite TV and phone lines.
