A turn-of-the-century home in a quiet residential area.
This lovely house was built in 1904 by local architect Montezuma Fuller in the neo-classical style and features high ceilings and large leaded glass windows. It is within walking distance of Colorado State University and the historic Old Town shopping and restaurant district. To get there, simply hop on the authentically restored trolley car that runs in front of the house. The eight rooms are cozily furnished with gas fireplaces, four-poster queen-size beds and comfortable armchairs. They come with telephones, cable TV with VCRs and private bathrooms with either claw-foot or Jacuzzi tubs. Nice extras for a B&B include a concierge service, sauna and exercise room. Business travelers have the use of a copy/fax machine and conference room; catering for meetings of up to 20 is available. A full breakfast and evening refreshments are included in the room rate. The inn hosts special events, such as French cooking classes, throughout the year.
