The perfect base for a family fishing trip on the shores of Lake Granby.

North Shore Resort

Tucked into Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, Lake Granby is well-known for its Mackinaw Lake Trout fishing. The resort enjoys a prime lakeside location for those guests wanting to partake in this popular pastime. It is also close to Rocky Mountain National Park, Arapaho National Recreation Area and Elephant Island, which is an Osprey nesting habitat. The resort features nine motel units, next door to Beacon Landing Marina, which rents boats and sells fishing licenses. The one- and two-bedroom, cabin-like accommodations all feature fully equipped kitchens with refrigerators, gas ranges, microwaves, toasters and coffee pots. The nonsmoking rooms were updated in 2003 with new beds and carpeting, and they include cable TV. For hanging out in the fresh air, the resort has gas barbecue grills, picnic tables, a playground, a volleyball area, horseshoe pits and campfire area. Discounts are offered to seniors and during the off-season, from October to May.
