The Park Central Hotel
The tallest Art Deco hotel on Ocean Drive.
Considered one of Henry Hohauser’s finest architectural offerings, this renovated 1937 beachfront hotel features 125 elegant guest rooms and suites. It is the tallest Art Deco hotel on Ocean Drive, and its grand lobby once welcomed celebrities such as Clark Gable, Carole Lombard and Rita Hayworth. Guest room renovations in 2004 brought feather-filled comforters and pillows and Art Deco lighting. Contemporary facilities include a fitness studio, rooftop garden and heated swimming pool. Quinn’s at The Park Central offers sidewalk and terrace dining, with Caribbean and Asian-inspired cuisine served nightly. Billiards, backgammon and chess (all popular in the 1940s) are still favorite pastimes here. The 700-square-foot Florida Room is available for small to mid-sized meetings.
