Disney's All-Star Sports Resort

It's a field day for families at this sports fantasy resort decorated with giant pop art sporting goods props.

Giant whistles, football helmets, baseball bats, surfboards and other such props greet guests at this sports-themed resort. Over 1,900 rooms housed in 10 three-story buildings offer five individual sports-motif sections: football, baseball, basketball, tennis and surfing. Stairwells are designed to resemble three-story soda cups, while lifeguard shacks and tennis ball cans connect floors. Outside areas resemble stadium or court settings, the featured pool is in the shape of a baseball diamond and another one features water sports. Next door to Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom, the resort caters best to families with its simple, kid-oriented amenities, such as a kiddie pool, playground and an arcade. Adults can enjoy a poolside bar as well as inexpensive food, babysitting services, complimentary motor coach transportation to all Disney parks and transportation to non-Disney parks for a fee. Rooms are standard with no extras, room service is limited to pizza delivery and there is no concierge.
