South Pacific-themed hotel with express ride privileges and water taxis to Universal Studios.
Orlando is no stranger to themed hotels and the Royal Pacific, a member of the Loews hotels, may be one of the most unique: from the plane that "landed" near the lagoon-style swimming pools sandy beach to the fire dancers greeting guests to the Jurassic Park decorated rooms. Theres water, water and more water everywhere. This hotel is not only one-of-a-kind it's also fun. From your first step onto the property the car can stay parked. Universal Studios long lines won't be a problem as hotel guests get priority on rides with Universal Ride Express privileges. Theres a host of restaurants and shops in very tropical surroundings. Rooms can be pricey, especially in high season, and parking per day is $12 for self-park lots or $14 for valet. Rooms have full views of Universal Studios; transportation via water taxis is convenient; luaus are lavish. There are a variety of room styles from standard singles and doubles to presidential suites. Parents get a chance to relax in a 5,000 square foot exercise facility, in the sauna and in the whirlpool, while little ones enjoy supervised activities in the Mariner's Club. It's no surprise that the resort features "dive-in" movies, a children's water active playground, sand volleyball courts, ping-pong, torch lighting ceremonies, a Bali gift shop, a sushi bar and an Emeril Lagasse underwater-themed restaurant of gourmet proportions.
