An intimate B&B with an Amish emphasis.
The antiques and Amish-style décor here proves popular with couples and families seeking a homey, intimate stay. Secluded in surroundings of tall pines and Florida oaks, this property is located near Tampa; it is also close to Ybor City, a Latin-themed neighborhood filled with antique shops, bars, lounges, clubs and restaurants. The innkeepers are happy to arrange pickup at the nearby airport, train station or bus terminal. Although the actual building was constructed in the mid-1970s, the owners scoured the area for 19th-century accents, including old doors, windows, stairs, a pantry and even a back porch. There are a total of five accommodations in either the main house or the two-bedroom cottage, including three rooms with private baths and a suite. All come with cable TVs and VCRs. A conference room can host small meetings or receptions. Breakfast, afternoon tea, snacks and refreshments are complimentary. On cool winter nights, you can enjoy fresh popcorn in front of a blazing fire.
