Bon Maison Guest House
A guest house best suited for adults who enjoy sleeping near the action.
This historic former slave quarters was built in 1833. Today, it is positioned between Café Lafitte and Bourbon Club, two of the city's hottest gay bars. That said, this five-room French Quarter guest house is actually at the quieter end of Bourbon Street. Relatively speaking, your chances of getting a restful night's sleep are high. Rooms are set back from the street, through a dark corridor and an open courtyard, which adds to the potential for privacy. This inn embodies the character of a bed-and-breakfast and the convenience of a hotel. For example, you'll find private phones and cable TV in the rooms. You may choose between one- and two-bedroom suites, the latter of which sleeps up to four people. All rooms are non-smoking, have private entrances and contain a small kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. No pets or kids.
