Top 10 Boutique Hotels in Las Vegas
Goodbye gimmicks, hello pampering, at this sophisticated, casino-free hotel.
Four Seasons took a gamble when it opened the only (at the time) non-gaming hotel on the Strip. Occupying the top four floors of Mandalay Bay, it offers its guests boutique atmosphere and the privileges at the larger resort. Given the white-glove service and understated elegance of the accommodations, it's hard to believe that this intimate escape resides within the same complex as the dynamic Mandalay Bay. Only a private entrance and quiet vestibule separate one hotel from the other, but oh what a difference that vestibule makes.
Inspired by the Art Deco movement, the 421 tasteful guest rooms (including 86 suites) are located on floors 35 to 39 of the Mandalay Bay tower. They feature plush bathrobes, down duvets, iPod docking stations, thoughtful children's amenities and flat-screen plasma TVs with DVD players. Along with the Veranda serving light fare and cocktails, guests can enjoy meals at an outpost of Charlie Palmer Streak. As well, the lobby is home to PRESS, serving coffee and pastries early the day, and craft cocktails and small plates come evening. The meeting and function center (which can be expanded to include Mandalay Bay facilities) hosts many prestigious events, including parties and weddings of the valley's movers and shakers. Guests can lounge all day in a private cabana by a tranquil private pool, or renew at the spa, featuring signature treatments ideal for the desert climate.
