Treasure Island Hotel & Casino
This classic Vegas resort hotel offers upscale extras and excellent value.
This resort hotel has undergone various transformations over the years. There was a time when it was overtly family-friendly, and then an era when it was notably sexy, a vibe underscored by The Sirens of TI, a risque battle between sea nymphs and swashbuckling buccaneers that was performed free nightly. These days, the hotel strikes a nice balance, with a comfy, tasteful vibe that can be found from its accommodations to its dining venues.
The guest rooms and suites (nearly 3,000 in total) are handsome, done in dark tones with tasteful accent colors and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, marble baths and natural wood armoires housing entertainment centers. Amenities include flat-screen 42" LCD TVs with digital cable, safes, small refrigerators and large work desks. Suites also come with luxurious sitting areas, walk-in closets, his and hers marble bathrooms and whirlpool tubs.
Among the facilities on-site are Oleksandra Spa and Salon, a pool area complete with private cabanas and DJs, a pedestrian bridge that connects to the Grand Canal Shoppes, a wedding chapel and an impressive 30,500 square feet of meeting, conference and event space. The hotel's dining scene is varied and leans toward the casual, including Phil's Steak House, the Seafood Shack, Señor Frog’s, Pizzeria Francesco’s, The Buffet at TI and a Gilley's Saloon outpost for barbecue, honky-tonk and mechanical bull riding. For entertainment, Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is both immersive and educational, and is ideal for all ages, while Mystère was the first Cirque du Soleil show in town and still sells out regularly.
