Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino

3000 Paradise Rd. (Riviera Blvd.) Las Vegas NV

A range of great room options and rates at a (renamed) Las Vegas institution.

Opened by billionaire Kirk Kerkorian in 1968 as the International, this former Hilton hotel attracted some of Las Vegas' top entertainment, including Barbra Streisand and Elvis Presley (who performed here more than 800 times). These days, Trent Carlini as "The King" now performs six nights a week in the Shimmer Cabaret, and Raiding The Rock Vault is a classic rock fan's dream. Adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center, the hotel draws a large business crowd. Its own 200,000-square-foot meeting space includes pillar-free rooms and seating for up to 8,904 guests. Among amenities in the 3,000-plus guest rooms are high-speed Internet connections and visual strobes for the hearing impaired. Lanai Suites with patios open onto the third-floor recreation deck, which features tennis courts, a swimming pool and private cabanas. Among the Villa Suites is an enormous, two-story, French-style suite featuring hand-painted walls and ceiling murals, a lap pool, gardens and a fully stocked gourmet kitchen. For dining, the resort offers Benihana and Edge Steakhouse.
