Pueblo Bonito Bed & Breakfast
Late-19th-century charm on the edge of Santa Fe's historic downtown.
This compound, a former private estate, contains twenty rooms and suites, all with kiva-style wood-burning fireplaces, fine paintings and crafts created by local artists, handmade wooden furnishings, and ornate, traditional Santa Fe details, such as beam ceilings; flagstone, oak, or maple floors; and thick adobe walls. Some of the larger suites, which have queen futons in the living rooms in addition to queen beds in the bedrooms, have full kitchens. Pueblo Bonito is right on the southern edge of downtown, near the New Mexico State Capitol building and within a short walk of the Plaza's many museums, restaurants, and galleries. Hosts Herb and Amy Behm and a helpful and knowledgeable staff are a great help, and they serve complimentary margaritas and wine in the afternoon and a hearty Continental breakfast in the morning.
