Cutting edge architecture welcomes guests in a classic Brooklyn neighborhood.
Located within an unusually angled, glass-clad building that rises up like a sentinel out of the Brooklyn landscape, the William Vale wows guests from the get-go. Home to a thriving arts community, the Williamsburg neighborhood is buzzing with creative energy, and this hotel fits right into the overall mix with its modern features and design details. The colorful, swirling, permanent installation that anchors the lobby was commissioned from local artist Marela Zacarias; you’ll find more locally produced art scattered throughout the property.
Each of the 183 guest rooms and suites boasts an incredible view from its floor-to-ceiling windows and private balcony, as well as custom metalwork, rain-style showers, high-end Frette linens, in-room refrigerators and L’Occitane toiletries. Guests can cool off during humid summer months with a dip in the 60-foot pool, which serves as a destination hot spot in and of itself. Helmed by renowned chef Andrew Carmellini, house restaurant Leuca serves sumptuous Southern Italian cuisine. After dinner, drinks at the Westlight rooftop bar are a perfect way to cap off the night. Live events run the gamut, from art talks to group meditation. While this hotel is more about play than work, it does offer a meeting salon for up to 70.
