Urban Cowboy Brooklyn

111 Powers (Manhattan Ave.) Brooklyn NY

Saddle up for a stay at this urban-chic Brooklyn B&B.

One of the rooms at the Urban Cowboy Brooklyn.

The Urban Cowboy B&B is located in Brooklyn’s re-emerging Williamsburg neighborhood. The brainchild of Lyon Porter, this forward-thinking bed-and-breakfast offers guests the experience of living in a luxury Brooklyn town home, but with a rustic cowboy vibe. Situated within a designer townhouse, the five accommodations (four bedrooms within the house itself plus a standalone cabin with private entrance in the backyard) all go by clever Western-themed call signs and exude a distinctly contemporary feel with interesting visuals and architecture such as 12-foot cathedral ceilings, Western American/Southwestern art and décor, exposed brick and joists, wide-planked pine wood floors, a claw-foot bathtub and a wood-burning potbelly stove. Step inside, and it’s easy to believe you’ve been transported far from New York City into an upscale, outdoorsy oasis. Just be aware, three of the bedrooms do share a bathroom. Everyone is welcome to hang out in the main parlor area (flanked by fully operational rollback garage doors) and in the hot tub/sauna out back. A farmhouse breakfast is included in the price of your stay.
