A modern new look for an old business hotel.
While the unimpressive exterior of this building reflects its Clarion and Radisson hotel roots, the interior is actually quite attractive. It's done up in a toned-down W hotel style and offers a sleeker (and nicely priced) alternative to the city's more traditional properties. Mustard-colored walls and dark woods warm up the 196 bedrooms and suites, which hang onto a Southern ambience with their graceful lines. Black and white photos add a stylish touch. Among the amenities you'll find pillow-top mattresses and high-speed wireless Internet access. Quirky extras include Primp Kits for him, her and Fido. Meetings spaces hold up to 600, and recreational facilities include a 24-hour fitness center and outdoor pool. There is also a restaurant and bar on-site. Rumor has it that if you want a lava lamp, pet fish, art kit, rubber duckie and even '76 Caddy convertible, all you need to do is ask. The hotel is located in south Nashville, convenient to most area attractions.
