The Thompson hotel group's hip vibe gets an infusion of distinctive Southern charm at this Nashville outpost.
In the heart of Music City, Thompson Nashville sings a sweet song all its own. Flavored with strains of the honky-tonk and bluegrass that emanate from Music Row, this hotel offers guests a trendy place to hang their hats in the hot Gulch district, known for its diverse dining, shopping and entertainment venues. While Thompson is recognized as an urban luxury brand, the Nashville outpost doesn't shy away from the area's down-home Southern roots.
Decked out with subway-tiled bathrooms, platform beds, hardwood floors and quirky, tasteful design details, the contemporary guest rooms and suites gaze out over the Nashville landscape from floor-to-ceiling windows. Chef John Besh helms the hotel's dining scene, infusing the Marsh House menu with traditional Southern seafood recipes interpreted in modern ways. Small plates and “porch-sippin’ cocktails” are on offer at the rooftop L.A. Jackson lounge, and baked goods and coffee can be enjoyed for breakfast and lunch at Killebrew. Six-thousand square feet of meeting and event space spans indoor and outdoor venues.
