Get up close and personal with the living history of Colonial Williamsburg.

Williamsburg Lodge

For those travelers who want to be right in the thick of the Colonial Williamsburg experience, this hotel offers a front row view. It is more casual than its across-the-street cousin, The Williamsburg Inn, but it has its own distinct character. The lobby is paneled in cypress, ladder-back chairs line walkways, and the rooms contain reproductions of works from the nearby Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Center. There is also a conference center, which can host events up to 1,300. As a part of the Colonial Williamsburg experience, the hotel offers guests excellent access to restaurants such as the former colonial tavern, The King's Arms, and Chowning's, complete with balladeers. Its busiest season is the fall, when visitors come for the added attraction of the vibrant colors of the changing leaves.
