A brand-new Victorian inn with all the frills.

Anchorage Inn Bed & Breakfast

This sprawling reproduction Victorian house resides in a town on Whidbey Island that once served as the home for many of the Northwest’s sea captains. The island is awash in rolling farmland, charming villages and beaches for clamming and strolling, and is particularly popular with bikers. This place was created for the pleasure of people who love Victorian-style trimmings. All the requisites of that design era are here: flower-festooned wallpaper, bold flower print linens, four poster beds in some rooms and brass beds in others, and---of course---frilly curtains. Most rooms look onto views of Penn Cove and area mountains. Unlike in many B&Bs, each room also has its own bathroom, cable television, a VCR, a phone and a computer jack.
