A sprawling ranch spread at the foot of the Cascade Mountains.
A ranch-turned-retreat in a spectacular setting on the sunny eastern side of Mount Adams and the Cascade Mountain range, this 100-acre property, located a quarter mile off the highway, features a mixture of woods and open fields, making it a great spot for walking, hiking and cross-country skiing. Instead of the typical B&B offering of just a few rooms in a single home, the Flying L has 11 guest rooms in two buildings, as well as three cabins that are set apart for further privacy. The original six-room lodge that once served as home to the ranch’s owners is now the social hub of the property, with a large living room furnished with a stone fireplace, library and piano. The smaller Guest House has five rooms, each with its own private entrance and eye-popping views of the mountain. The cabins are surrounded by pine trees and have electric and wood stove heat.
