Guest House Log Cottages
A secluded spot to spark the embers of romance amid privacy and pampering.
This picture-perfect setting is almost too good to be true---wildlife, birds, a pond and flower gardens provide the backdrop for two framed wood cottages and four log cottages. Seattle feels hours away. In fact, the Emerald City is just a short ferry ride from here. City folk fleeing the bright lights, big city can stay in one of six individually-themed, two-person cottages equipped with all the comforts of home, and then some. Each cottage has a full kitchen, fireplace and Jacuzzi, but it's here where the similarities with your own digs stop. That is, unless you live in a gingerbread house lifted out of a fairy tale (The Cabin), complete with stained glass and windows with crisscross panes. The Kentucky Cottage is another example of theme ingenuity, featuring antique country furnishings, a large stone fireplace and braided rugs like those you used to find at grandma's house. The Lodge cabin extends out into the pond.
