Ten idyllic rooms and a ‘20s-era chapel in the woodlands near the Port of Ilwaco.
Near Washington’s historic fishing village of Ilwaco, guests will find comfort and style at the Inn at Harbour Village, a rustic retreat on a knoll overlooking the scenic port. Built in 1928 as a Presbyterian church, the inn has nine rooms and one suite, each of which features coastal décor and nautical knickknacks, as well as such extras as window seats, claw-foot bathtubs, high ceilings and multi-paned windows. Guests who book the inn’s only suite can enjoy luxurious leather recliners in front of a wood-burning fireplace, a large king-size bed and an oversize shower with dual showerheads. The inn also features a parlor, which includes Old World-style furnishings such as a grandfather clock, game table and oversized sofas. This room is the setting for complimentary daily continental breakfast and afternoon wine and sparkling cider. Also in the building is a chapel/auditorium that seats up to 120 guests, as well as a roomy banquet and conference facility. Ilwaco has many outdoor activities, dining experiences and entertainment opportunities for visitors to enjoy, including hiking, horseback riding, bird watching and kite flying on the Long Beach Peninsula. Additionally, the innkeepers are happy to suggest arrange a chartered boat for whale watching or fishing, or recommend a great seafood restaurant.
