A working guest ranch tucked in a secluded mountain valley.
This ranch is surrounded by 500 acres of forest, meadow and pastures. It is popular with families. As well, it is often rented for weddings and business retreats. Accommodations are deluxe lodge rooms or charming log cabins with wood-burning stoves and private hot tubs. All are furnished with original Western art, antiques and handmade furniture. In the summer, most people come here to ride. There are special riding and nature-related programs for kids. When the corral gets too hot and dusty, guests head to the Fountain Deck to cool down with an ice cream and to play in the water jets spouting out of the deck. In January and September, adult guests can participate in cattle drives that move the ranch’s livestock from one pasture to another. Winter activities include dog sledding, show shoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Three meals a day with wine and beer, as well as take-on-the-trail snacks, are included in the price of your stay.
