Adapted from Chris Van Allsburg's surrealistic children's book of the same name, "The Polar Express" is a magical trip to the North Pole and back that both kids and their parents will enjoy.

The adventure begins on Christmas Eve when one young boy, skeptical of Santa Claus yet not without hope, finds a mysterious train outside his house with an unbelievable terminus — the North Pole. As the boy and a small troop of other lucky children rediscover the spirit of Christmas, we find ourselves wanting to believe just as badly. Made with motion capture computer animation, the film offers a fantastically vivid view of Santa's workshop and the wintery wilderness of the North that stays true to its source material.
