A 2007 film about the legendary Western outlaw — Jessie James's — last days.

This 2007 take on Jesse James depicts the legendary Western outlaw's last days, after he and his brother Frank had become men of legend in post-Civil War America. It's a story that has been told on film countless times before; in fact, Jesse James, Jr. starred in two silent movies playing his famous father way back in 1921. This languidly paced look at the train robber's final days has a beautiful, soft color palette and old-timey feel. The acting is excellent all around, with great performances from Brad Pitt as Jesse James, Casey Affleck (nemesis Robert Ford) and Sam Shepard (Frank James).
