Best Restaurants in LA to Watch the Super Bowl
The Blue Room at Tavern will be set up for viewing Super Bowl 51 before the kickoff at 3:30 p.m. The menus – helmed by chef and co-owner Suzane Goin and chef de cuisine Amy Deaderick - include a festive buffet of Tavern’s favorite game-watching snacks for $45 per person.
The buffet menu includes bacon-wrapped dates, crudités with green goddess dressing, a cheese, charcuterie and pickled vegetable board, Spanish fried chicken with cumin-chile butter & romesco aïoli, Buffalo hot wings with blue cheese dressing and St. Louis-style ribs with Hawtplate’s hawt sauce.
The Tavern Taco Bar will feature curried cauliflower with tahini yogurt, cilantro and poppy seeds, grilled shrimp with elote, chile, lime and crema and tempura-battered fish with pico de gallo, guacamole and escabeche.
The event will also feature custom cocktails by head barman Christiaan Rollich, wines curated by co-owner Caroline Styne and desserts by executive pastry chef Sahar Shomali.
