A fixture of the Irish Channel area in Uptown New Orleans, Parasol's is nothing fancy, just a typical neighborhood watering hole.

While sandwiches such as a muffaletta and a BLT are available, the po' boys dominate the offerings: roast beef, oyster and catfish are just a few of the options served on white, wheat, French bread or a bun for the regular size, and French bread exclusively if you go large.
