Cu Chi Tunnels

Take a tour of this network of underground tunnels.

A visitor entering the Cu Chi Tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The maze of tunnels that make up Cu Chi were originally used by Viet Cong soldiers during the Vietnam War as hiding spots, as well used as a covert means of transporting food, supplies and sending messages.

Today, the safer parts of the tunnels are open to the public and visitors can crawl through these passages, as well as see booby traps and weapons on display. There are two sites where the tunnels can be accessed: Ben Dinh and Ben Duoc.
