Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec

Located in the vast urban park called the Plains of Abraham, the gorgeous museum showcases Québec artists in its permanent collection and international art exhibitions in a separate wing. The museum is made up of four pavilions: the Charles Baillairgé pavilion exhibits modern art; the Gérard Morisset pavilion houses historical art; the Pierre Lassonde pavilion holds contemporary art; and the Central pavilion is at the center of all four pavilions.

Have lunch at the museum's sophisticated Café and Sandwich Shop located in the Charles Baillairgé pavilion. There's also Restaurant MNBAQ in the Central Pavilion offering views of the Plains of Abraham, and the seventy-seat restaurant Tempéra Québécor inside the Pierre Lassonde pavilion.
