Take a look at this historic theater and venue in Koreatown.
Right on the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue you'll find The Wiltern, along with the adjoining 12-story Pellissier Building. The edifice is a prime example of Art Deco architecture not only in LA, but in the United States. As you step inside, you see a theater decorated in elegance that evokes Old Hollywood glamour. Built in 1931, it features vibrant terrazzo paving and colorful murals, and has become an important part of Los Angeles' historical landscape. The theater located on the ground level is operated separately from the rest of the building by Live Nation and continues to be one of the largest venues in the city. Catch a variety of shows, music performances and events here, and for an oh-so exclusive experience, check out The Wiltern Underground Lounge.
