Best Things to Do

San Fernando Valley

San Fernando Valley, or as locals call it, the Valley, lies north of the Los Angeles basin and is home to nearly two million people. The area encompasses cities such as Calabasas, Glendale, Burbank and Woodland Hills. Because of its geological location away from the sea breeze, temperatures in the Valley are higher than other areas of LA, which locals often bemoan during the summer months. Even so, this region is where many celebrities live and there are plenty of fun attractions, from the backlot tours of Warner Brothers Studio to the seemingly endless stretch of restaurants and shops along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City and Sherman Oaks.
